Does the spandex make me look fat?

So, it's an open secret that I am almost pathetically in love with techno-electro music. So imagine my surprise to discover that Shangri'la is going to be in San Luis Obispo this weekend. It's almost too good to be true. And at ticket prices starting around 4 American Dollars, you won't find my anywhere but there. Nobody is quite sure where there is, yet, but I should be able to tell you where things is gonna be happening sometime in the near future.  For now, the information that they have released is here

In other recent news, I have found the genre known as "Nerdcore." The only known performer of this delicious art is MC Frontalot, Official Rapper of Penny Arcade. His music is almost too good to be true: semi-complex rhyme schemes about BASIC, Star Wars, German Industrial Music, and the kind of women your roommate brings home. He swears a lot less than we do here on this site, and he's almost 100% nerd. Check him out, give him mad props, and tell everyone you know about nerdcore. Just, try not to get beaten up.

For those of our nocturnal readership, I'm publishing this a bit earlier than usual because John needs some schooling in how to loose at Warcraft. I have already given my roommate a beating so brutal that even the LAPD won't touch me, and my bloodlust is yet unsatisfied. This in addition to the destruction left in my wake on some hallmates computers and the harsh lessons in Dance Dance Revolution that John got earlier tonight. Of course, we would have had a very competitive game of air hockey, but the pucks seem to mysteriously start breaking when we play. Scientists are still baffled.

Well, time for class.

Yes Matt, I know.

In other news, we have a location for Shangri'La. It's going to be in Templeton, CA, about 15 minutes north of San Luis Obispo on US-101. For directions, you can ask some guy over here, although he may be wrong.

We will, of course, be bringing our camera and be bringing our 4.38 daily readers some delicious pics from the party, although we may become deaf from freakishly loud music.
