As I'm sure you all noticed, there was not only no comic last Friday, but our offering from today is late. Now, I would first like to say that I take back everything I said about not being as bad as MacHall ... with both matt and I trying to figure out how to sleep again, this should be interesting. AT least we're not off playing Morrowind until our eyes fall out of our heads because we haven't been blinking. I have, however, found another game that is very much that good. It's freeware, I believe, called CrimsonLand. The game has no point, but it has no point in spectacular overhead 3d Graphics with an awesome array of weapons and abilities. I recommend it, if you can find it.
Second of all, I'm sure you all noticed something fundamentally ... different ... about todays comic. Yes, I confirm your worse suspicions ... I DREW THIS COMIC!!! Yes ... this is the first of what should (hopefully) be a once a month or less thing we like to call a BAD - short of Brad/Bad Art Day. It's analogous to the Shirt Guy Dom days that Megatokyo has, but the art is better. Hell, the art of the BAD"s are better than those of UserFriendly, or even of Tychos Offering, which - basically, folks - blows. Now, I love Tycho and would gladly trade my immortal soul for his command of the english language and ability to be funny at 6:00 in the goddamn morning, but his art is fantastically sucky. It's so sucky that I don't even feel too bad about inflicting my art on you, something I should already be atoning for.
But I have a secret ... a dirty little secret that will make all you artists out there drool and cream in your pants and want to track me down: I did todays little bundle of joy on a WACOM 9 x 12 inch graphics Tablet. It was orgasmic, absolutely amazing. Now, before you all have heart attacks, no .. the tablet is not mine ... it is the property of one Greg Rice, resident pharmicologist - but then again, so is the laptop sitting on my desk. The fact that he said to me "Brad, you can do whatever you want with the laptop as long as you don't break it, but you can only borrow the tablet for as long as you need it" doesn't really factor into my outright joy over this situation. I love Mac people.
I'm just sure that there was something else that I needed to mention, but I cannot for the life of me remember what it is.
