Only the Taxi to Downtown

Posted by: Brad @ 12:57 PM

Alright, here's how it is: when your roommate's closet platonic female friend spends more time in your room than in hers, she tends to fall asleep in your roommates arms in his bed somewhere around 2 AM.  Normally this wouldn't bother me, except that they take some time out from about midnight to talk about their significant others back home.  This is only slightly disturbing, as I am a strong proponent of the dedication and love thing as a part of the relationship, not as a "maybe we'll include it later" thing.

So, the comic.  I did what I could, but Matt was just not feeling the homoerotic love for his pencil that he usually does, and the comic kinda looks like King of the Hill mixed with b33r.  This is bad.  Fortunately, I've had a little talk with Matt and he promises to take his time on the comics and not get them to me before Monday.  Hopefully this won't be too much of a problem and the strips will look better.

We kinda nixed the idea of having a daily, although living here is providing great sources of amusement for strips, so keep your eyes peeled.

Unfortunately, we didn't get our strip posted on MacHall as a guest, but they mentioned posting all the submissions on Monday, so maybe you'll see it there.  Whether it generates any extra site traffic or not is up for debate.

Next comic is due on Tuesday, so check back then!

Ok, confession time ... as much as matt could have done more in the art department, I could have done a great deal more in the photoshop department ... so flaming sue me.

This comic made possible by the combined efforts of Matt Thompson and Brad Mitchell, and hosted by Keenspot. All works on the site are (C) and (R) them unless it's (C) and (R) someone else. Don't even try to steal from us, our collective left earlobe vibrates every time illegal type shit happens. Just read the comic and then go tell our  hosts how much you've enjoyed our work.  Spread the word!
